Freedom! '90
Summer is coming to an end and taking the sunshine with it. Luckily I live in Vegas so even with Autumn quickly approaching, I will still hold on to the hope of warm days just a little bit longer.
I am happy I got some pool time in this year even if it wasn't a lot.I wanted to do a shoot that had a '90s supermodel look it. Sadly on the day of, my hair didn't set quite like I had hoped so I look more like a mess than a model. It was still fun none the less. While looking for 90's supermodel makeup inspiration, I was remind of George Michael's Freedom! '90 and that is where the name of the shoot came from. That song is so good!!!
Enjoy!

The Baton Bombshell
Totally Major-ette! This has to be one of my favorite pinup shoots I have done! Fun and cute!
Many years ago I worked at a Vintage Clothing Store in Phx, AZ. The owner of the store, Heidi gave me the leotard (along with 2 others) and after all these years... I have finally put it to use!! Heidi was a wonderful woman and supporter of mine and though it has been many many years since her passing, I think of her often. I just know she would get a kick out of me showing my boobs in it too!!A quick thank you to Tina Cione' for lending me her baton from when she was a wee thing! -with Tina Cione'.
I just love that you let me do these shoots for you!

Now That You Got It
You know I really love stripes! I might even say at this point, it's as much of a signature look for me as my red lips! I could be wrong. I just wanted to thank you for allowing me to express my creativity here... Which is your favorite look? 1, 2, or 3?
xoxo

Back in Time
In honor of one of my besties' birthday today, I wanted to post a photo from a couple of months ago. We were just about to head out to see an Aviators' Baseball Game here in Las Vegas. It was 80's night so we decided to do the theme in a very "daily" way. We were a bit surprised that BARELY anyone was dressed and the few that did, dressed in Party City Does the 80's or just neon. Which, we weren't hating on at all! We were happy anyone dressed up, just surprised by the lack of it especially since many, if not most, of the attendees were teenagers (or older) in the 80s and know the look well!
My t-shirt is actual vintage 1980s and I stole it from my sister's closet probably 30 years ago (in the 90s!) Vintage Diet Rite! Do we all remember that pop?
Everything else is new, but still very 80s inspired. Her Frankie Says Relax t-shirt, our retro track shorts, and my jellies. She opted for the sprayed bangs and I went with a more early 80s college girl hairstyle. Which in the movies means I either would have been killed at camp or accidentally showed my boobs to some nerds!
She just bought the shortly before this evening, a Pontiac Firebird and it is from 1991, I think. Something about the early 90s' Firebird models were exactly the same as the ones in the 80s, but these were convertible. Close enough.
Thanks for reading and...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TINA CIONE'!!!!!

FELINE GOOD
Last year while visiting my Mom in Wisconsin, I found this vintage 1960s/1970s Vanity Fair leopard print bodysuit with snap crotch. What made this even more devilishly exciting for me is that this is something that I like to call, a double vintage item! Back in the early 2000s when pinup and rockabilly had made yet another revival... all the pinup girlies had this piece of lingerie (or one very similar) that they all modeled in. I never had that kind of luck, so you know when I found this in an antique shop for only $5, I had to pick it up! Now that it has been nearly 20 years from then, it's now a double vintage item!
I am so happy that I finally got my chance to pose in it! I hope you will enjoy the photos I post here.
Next week I will be reopening my Patreon with the complete set of SFW photos from this set. My Patreon will include all SFW Pinup and Burlesque content for those that want to support the arts for less than a cup of coffee a month!
For those of you that want more a bit more naughtiness in your life... I will also be reopening my Spicy Site (OF) which will include all my Patreon content PLUS all the NSFW content ~ erotic n*des.

Outfit of the Day!
Today a few of my friends were taking part in a pinup show/contest(?) and I wanted to go and show my support! Unfortunately, the event seemed to be not well run and although I was told the contest was from 6pm to 7pm, it was already over by time I got there (5:45pm)!
Even though I was disappointed not to see my friends strut their stuff, I did get to run into them and cheer them on after the fact.
I snapped a photo of my outfit before I headed to the contest since I thought I had plenty of time.

House of Menjou - Viva Las Vintage Recap
The newest Burlesque production team in Las Vegas is the House of Menjou! Glitter Ginger and Zelda Fairfax have come together to to bring exciting themed Burlesque shows to the Majestic Repertory Theatre on Main St. in the heart of the arts district.
Their debut show, Viva Las Vintage, was inspired by the classic acts from both Burlesque and Las Vegas Showgirls... and maybe a tad bit of Liberace.
Hosted by Victoria Jade and starring Glitter Ginger and Zelda Fairfax, Viva Las Vintage also featured performances by Tricky Tatiana, The Cello Lestat, Buttercup, and me, Lolita Haze.
I was beyond excited to take part in this show and was grateful that they asked me to perform my classic fan dance; Jeu Diabolique.
The show sold out and every seat in the theatre was filled with smiling faces and cheering folks enjoying a variety of sexy stripteases by some lovely ladies and one handsome gent.
I just thought I would share a short montage video from the show as well as some photos. I hope you enjoy!

Hannahs Furniture Co. The Family Heirlooms
Happy New Year to those of you that still enjoy following this blog of mine. I thought I would make the first (real) post of the New Year be about the past. Naturally, as a vintage related blog, all my posts involve the past somehow, but this one is extra special to me.
Back in October of 2022, I drove down to Prescott, AZ to help my Mom pack up and move. She was moving back to Kenosha, WI as Arizona no longer provided her with the happiness she once loved. I met up with my sister and we were later joined by my brother and nephew.
While diving into the treasure trove of goodies my mother had and spending time with my family, I noticed a table that my Mom had that I had never seen before. It was a side table with an art deco design. I absolutely fell in love with it and asked if I could have it. I was told no, she was keeping it and it was a "Hannahs table" (Hannahs being the family name). Drats, I thought! My Mom was not about to give up this beautiful table and that was understandable, it was a family heirloom obviously passed down to her. As we were packing up over the course of a few days, I heard her mention that a couple of other tables were "Hannahs tables". I didn't realize my Grandpa passed on so many family heirlooms! Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of these great tables to share with everyone.
It was on the last day that I was packing up some old artwork and posters that I came across an old ad out of a magazine, for of all things - Hannahs Furniture Co. Did I just learn something new about my family? This whole time when she was saying it was a Hannahs Table and I thought she meant simply a family heirloom, but it was actually a table manufactured by our family!?
Not the ad my Mom has. |
I do not know how I wasn't privy to the fact that my great grandfather was the president of "Hannahs Furniture Co.", which was manufacturing tables and (home) library furniture from 1910 to 1938. It was in 1933 that my Great Grandfather took over the company from his Dad and bought out all other partners.
However the history of "Hannahs Furniture Co." started long before that. Prior to 1882, my Great Great Grandfather (and his business partner) started "Hannahs and Jackson" making tables in chairs. After a fire in In 1882, "Hannahs and Jackson" incorporated as the "Kenosha Crib Company" (Kenosha, WI being the home of all of the businesses). Then in 1910 company changed its name to "Hannahs Manufacturing Company", moving away from children’s furniture and into high quality library furniture and tables. That is the very brief history I have been able to find online about "the family business". Let's move on to the table I now own!
After I returned home to Las Vegas, I immediately started to research what I could about "Hannahs Furniture Co." I came across a "Hannahs Furniture Co." table on eBay and had to snatch it up! I had to have at least 1 "family heirloom"! While this table isn't as lovey as the one my Mom has, I am still quite happy to have it. The top inlays remind me of bats -- I love bats! I set up the table as quickly as I could once I received it because I was just so excited to have it. It currently holds my record player and some knick knacks... which reminds me, I need to clean it off a bit!
Here are some other "Hannahs Furniture Co." tables that have found their ways into other peoples homes. (Found these photos on Google.)
Thank you for reading! I look forward to adding more Hannahs "family heirlooms" to my home!
Fun Fact! Apparently, "Hannahs Furniture Co." produced a pinball machine in 1937! To get my hands on THAT!
